Year in Review: 2022 Highlights!
The end of 2022 marks a big milestone for us, our 15th anniversary! We are looking forward to celebrating our 15th year in business in 2023, we have a lot in store and can’t wait to share it all with you! Today, we are reflecting on the past year and the many highlights of 2022 and feeling so grateful for our amazing customers. Thank you for another amazing year!
Spring brought exciting launches! First, we brought the garden of our dreams to life with our Paradise Garden design, an intricately stitched floral that soon became a personal team favorite. We also introduced new cats and dogs along with sweet new Easter items!
We announced our collaboration with Paperless Post, bringing our imaginative embroidered illustration into an online format! The Coral & Tusk x Paperless Post invitations are for every occasion, handcrafted with real embroidery and an authentic spirit. More on the collaboration on Paperless Post's blog.
The season also brought the first of a couple of custom, limited edition items, including a special apron for Mother’s Day!
What better way to dive into summer than with our new Swimmers and Day at the Beach designs! We introduced these two summery pocket pillows for the season of FUN. In July it was the end of an era, when we said bye, bye to our signature merit badges. After 11 years we retired the charming accessory to make space for new product categories.
In August, we introduced a new discount program to say THANK YOU to those who give back so much to their communities including teachers, veterans, active military, first responders and doctors. Learn more about these special discounts.
Each summer at Coral & Tusk is usually spent preparing for the most wonderful time of the year… which leads us into FALL!
For Fall, we brought you towering toadstools, mushrooms with pockets, and a whole new line of Halloween! Thanks to everyone who purchased our new designs and made this collection yet another one of our favorites!
In October, we introduced a product category we had long dreamed of: throws and quilts! Our one-of-a-kind quilts sold out so quickly and our throws were a big hit. Read Stephanie’s thoughts on the design process for our quilts and throws.
In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, we pledged to donate 10% of profits from table linen sales for the entire month of November to North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NĀTIFS). NĀTIFS is dedicated to addressing the economic and health crises affecting Native communities by re-establishing Native foodways. Together we raised $2,000.00 for NĀTIFS.
For Holiday 2022, we introduced our Winter Birds collection which features birds that can be spotted all winter in North America, a bright spot in the darkest season. For this collection, we pledged 10% of 2022 profits from the Winter Birds collection to The National Audubon Society. Together we were able to donate $1,000 to their conservation efforts!
The end of December marks our 15th year in business! We are beyond excited to celebrate this anniversary with our loyal and enthusiastic customers. We look forward to sharing so many new and exciting things with you very, very soon!
