The coronavirus is closing schools nationwide, and millions of vulnerable children are losing the school meals they depend on. For some, it’s the only food they’ll receive in a given day. Animal live streams are one of the happiest distractions and a fun way for kids to learn about wildlife. Zoos, farms, aquariums and wildlife reserves across the country are offering free live footage on their websites.

This one is a longtime favorite of ours, see if you can spot the pandas chowing down on bamboo!
Goat Milk Stuff’s Baby Goat Pen Livestream
Goat Milk Stuff is an Indiana based farm that is home to about 200 Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. These little goats have captured our hearts!
Monterey Bay Aquarium Livestream Channel
The amazing California aquarium has multiple live cams to choose from! Be mesmerized by Jellyfish or find a little in cheer with the African Penguin cam. The Monterey Bay Aquarium also has resources on their website for at-home education, learn about these incredible creatures while watching them live!
It’s still Girl Scout Cookie season and for the first time ever you can order cookies online! The Girl Scouts will not only send Thin Mints directly to your door but they have an option to donate cookies. Purchase a couple of boxes as a donation and the Girl Scouts will ship them to your local hospital and health centers. The Brooklyn Public Library is offering cardholders and the general public so many virtual perks while their branches remained closed during the pandemic. Stream story hours for kids, live music and even yoga. Check out their full schedule of Virtual Programming here.
