Minor Feelings by Cathy Park Hong

Read Text

“One of my favorite podcasts, Still Processing, is discussing the book Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning by Cathy Park Hong this week so I picked it up last weekend and I’m already enthralled a quarter of the way through. It’s so interesting how she was inspired by comedy sets to make her own poetry readings more performative and political.” - Lynsey

India’s COVID-19 crisis is devastating. Hospitals are overwhelmed, oxygen supplies are critically low, and each day the death toll rises. Our products are embroidered and produced in a small workshop in India, without our production partners we can not do what we do. We are committing to donating 1% of all sales to COVID-19 relief and humanitarian efforts in India for the foreseeable future. We plan to contribute to fundraisers on the Give India platform and to Project Nanhi Kali, both organizations were recommended to us by our partners in India. We encourage you to also consider donating directly as well.

Give India

India’s largest and most trusted fundraising platform. Donate directly to a variety of causes related to providing COVID-19 relief in India. Contribute to efforts to boost oxygen supply, send ration kits to the hardest hit across the state of Maharashtra, and donate to an effort to provide period products to women and adolescent girls in need.

Project Nanhi Kali

Project Nanhi Kali is one of India’s largest programs that enables underprivileged girls to complete 10 years of schooling. The project provides daily academic support as well as an annual school supplies kit, which allow girls to attend school with dignity.
