Giving to India

The COVID-19 crisis in India is devastating. Hospitals are overwhelmed and there are severe oxygen shortages throughout the country. In response to the humanitarian crisis in India we will be donating 1% of all sales for the rest of this year to COVID-19 relief efforts and humanitarian causes in India.
From the very beginning of Coral & Tusk, our production partners in India have been foundational to our business and we could not do what we do without them. Since we began production in India over ten years ago, we have always worked with the same small group of partners. It has been so important and rewarding for us to develop and grow our relationships with our Production Manager, Embroiderers and Tailors.
Our partners have recommended contributing to fundraisers on Give India, India’s largest and most trusted fundraising platform. Give India is on the ground in India responding quickly to the most urgent needs.
Another organization our partners recommended was Project Nanhi Kali, one of India’s largest programs that enables underprivileged girls to complete 10 years of schooling. The project provides daily academic support as well as an annual school supplies kit, which allow girls to attend school with dignity.
We are committed to donating 1% of our sales to both of these organizations and their efforts and encourage you to consider donating directly.
In addition to contributing 1% of our sales to India, we will continue to be in close contact with our partners and their teams to provide the support they need to ensure that they stay safe, healthy and secure.
