Lela Rose x Coral & Tusk
We are so excited to finally debut our table linen collaboration with fashion designer and entertaining expert, Lela Rose!
Our partnership with Lela Rose came about as she was planning for her most recent book, Fresh Air Affairs, “all about entertaining with style in the great outdoors.” In the book, Lela shares a variety of beautiful outdoor setups in Texas, New York, and Wyoming, where both she and Coral & Tusk designer, Stephanie Housley live. Lela’s gorgeous styling and hosting tips as well as cocktail recipes are not only great eye candy but a fantastic reference for any get-together.
The limited-edition embroidered designs were all created with a “cameo” motif where the main image is surrounded by a corresponding border, telling a story of each location. Pore over the stitched details while you host your own get-together or enjoy your linens every day at home. The linen collaboration on Lela Rose’s website all come on a beautiful blush-colored linen ground, and the same designs on our website are on our classic natural linen ground, so mix and match or get a full set of your favorites!

Lela was on the Today Show last month showing Jenna and Hoda her outdoor hosting set ups including this mimosa bar with our collaboration pink napkins. One thing she noted is that bringing linens may seem counterintuitive to eating outside but it saves so much on paper waste and we love that sentiment. Watch the full clip HERE!
Stephanie and Lela have known each other for over 12 years now with Lela being a supporter of Coral & Tusk since Stephanie was still creating each piece by hand!
For the collaboration, Lela is well versed in Coral & Tusk linens so she had a good idea of the outcome before starting. Lela first described her entertaining settings and showed images from her then unpublished Fresh Air Affairs book as well as a mood board to Stephanie for inspiration. There were a few loose sketches and then Stephanie went into the final drawings, first on paper and then digitized, and created samples on various colors of linen.
Lela's team chose to use the playful blush linen colorway which we think is perfect for spring and summer hosting!

In this fall tablescape below featured on her Instagram, Lela uses custom embroidered Coral & Tusk tea towels as napkins because they are a great size for entertaining.
We absolutely love all of Lela's work and can't wait to see how this table linen collaboration is styled and used in locations everywhere!
