New Collaboration: Coral & Tusk X Antipast
Introducing our newest collaboration collection.... SOCKS with Antipast! Antipast was founded by designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato in the 1990’s. Over the past several decades, they have created delightful designs for socks and apparel. Their thoughtfully created line is made in Japan with the highest quality materials. Antipast has collaborated with artists and designers around the world, including Natalie Lete, Mina Perhonen, and now Coral & Tusk! Read on to hear about how the collaboration collection came to be.
SHOP CORAL & TUSK x ANTIPAST
One of my favorite indulgences when I travel to Japan is treating myself to some super special socks. Visiting a sock shop in Japan is a unique experience that can only be found there. It is like a candy shop! There are so many different colors, textures, and designs, it’s an absolute treat.
Last year, a friend shared the Natalie Lete x Antipast sock collaboration with me, and suggested that a Coral & Tusk x Antipast collaboration would be so fun, and it sparked the idea. When my dear friend, Yumiko Sekine, owner of Fog Linen, mentioned she would be happy to make the introduction to her friends at Antipast, I jumped at the chance.
We are beyond thrilled with the craftsmanship and care that the entire Antipast team invested in making every single detail perfect in our debut collaboration. For this collaboration, we chose to bring our best-selling Garden, and Cat & Dog designs to life as socks. The designs and colors turned out spectacularly, and we cannot wait to see you wearing them!
Thank you for your support and care!
