In August our Brooklyn team headed out West with photographer Will Ellis to capture our new Camping collection in designer Stephanie Housley’s own backyard, Wyoming! Take a behind the scenes look at our shoot and read our Jackson Hole, WY travel guide.
Our Fall and Winter 2019 Collection is inspired by the great outdoors and features our favorite wilderness activities. The new embroidered collection includes a detailed glamping tent, a group of friendly woodland hikers and curious stargazers. So much of our collection was inspired by Stephanie’s time and experiences in her Western Wyoming home that we knew we had to photograph our new collection there.

Since our new designs celebrate the joy of being outdoors, we thought the best way to style our new collection would be in and around a vintage Airstream with the Grand Tetons in the background, naturally! Courtney, who owns the Jackson, WY based company The Silver Bungalow made our photoshoot dreams come true with her 1971 Safari Airstream trailer. We felt so incredibly lucky to be able to work with her and photograph her beautiful Airstream at Snake River Ranch, an operational ranch since 1929 in Wilson, WY that also rents venue space.

We scouted locations on the property the day before the big shoot. Snake River Ranch has so many amazing features including a wide open field, an old growth aspen grove and even a fresh-water stream. On our scout day we saw a migrating herd of elk, even the buck! We arrived bright and early the following morning with our favorite New York based interiors photographer, Will Ellis and shot our collection until the sun set that night.

Setting up the shots! In order to capture all of the locations that Snake River Ranch offers our team split up. Half of us set up shots while others assisted on scenes as they were being photographed.

McReynolds Black Tail Cabins lent us their handmade boat for the shoot. The stream at Snake River Ranch was one of our favorite spots and the boat was well, a dreamboat!
It wasn’t all work for us in Wyoming, we also had time to spend in the Tetons and enjoy Jackson! If you are headed out West we hope you explore the mountain area. Here are our picks for your trip!
The Grand Teton mountain range springs up from the earth and towers over pristine lakes and rivers. Hike to a glacial lake or spend time oohing and awing over the peaks from the valley floor. With over two hundred miles of trails and the Snake River flowing through the park there is so much to see & do!
Set in the scenic Bridger-Teton Wilderness, Granite Hot Springs has a pool fed by natural hot springs and also has beautiful hiking trails with opportunities to spot wildlife.

Bike!
Rent a bike at Dornan’s and bike into Grand Teton National Park. The lack of foothills in the park plus an excellent bike path makes for an enjoyable ride. Go slow so you can enjoy the view!
Hike!
Hike Cascade Canyon by walking around the scenic Jenny Lake or taking a boat to the trailhead. We’ve seen so much wildlife on this trail including pikas, marmots and even a moose family!
Boat!
Get on the water! Grand Teton National Park has more lakes and ponds than you can count. Rent a boat at
Signal Mountain Lodge and see a different view of the Tetons on Jackson Lake. We also love a raft trip on the Snake River!

The pizza at OYG rivals that of our favorite slices in NYC! Come for the delicious housemade pasta and fun cocktails but stay for the interior design. One of our favorite places to dine in the area.
There’s nothing quire like a pitcher of cold margaritas at Pica’s after a hike in the Tetons, or in our case after a 10 hour photoshoot at Snake River Ranch. We have two native Texans here at Coral & Tusk and they report that the chile rellenos do not disappoint!
The best bakery this side of the Mississippi! Also check out their sister cafe Picnic
to pack a lunch (or treat) for your time in the park.
McReynolds Black Tail Cabin West
Experience log cabin living with a view of the Tetons. These cabin rentals are surrounded by the national parks without any close neighbors. You’ll be spotting wildlife from the deck in a true wilderness setting but with all of your beloved creature comforts.
