Today we’re sharing inspiration on how to make your everyday meals feel more festive! Why save your favorite table linens and treasured dinner plates only for holidays? Dine with them today and take them outdoors! Here’s our guide for setting the backyard table in style.

DIY Dining Text

Last fall we photographed our table linens on a DIY table top to create this perfect picnic look. Stephanie put three pieces of lumber side-by-side and attached two additional planks to either end to form this tabletop. See what you have on hand that can be repurposed into a dining surface or hey, just carry your table outside!

Once you’ve put together your dining surface, layer in pillows, rugs, and mats to create a cozy seating area. We recommend using Turkish towels and flatweave rugs on the ground, they are both soft and easy to clean!
