We also wanted to let you know we’re donating 20% of proceeds from this weekend’s sales to City Harvest, New York City’s largest food rescue organization in honor of Earth Day! City Harvest helps to feed more than 1.5 million New Yorkers by rescuing over 144 million pounds of food a year. About ⅓ of the world’s food is wasted which is responsible for roughly 8% of global emissions. Climate change also disproportionately affects hungry people. Supporting our local food banks and food rescue organizations is one small thing we can do to help our communities and Mother Earth.
