Earlier this year (way back in February!) we introduced our Coastal Collection for Spring/Summer. Our intention for our new designs was to draw awareness to the unique beauty of the sea and celebrate the diversity of life found in our world’s oceans. With the launch of our spring collection we pledged to donate 10% of 2020 profits from the Coastal designs to organizations working to protect and restore our oceans.

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re thrilled to announce that we are donating $5,000.00 thanks to your support and enthusiasm for our Coastal Designs! This contribution will be split between Oceana and Sea Shepherd, learn more about their work below and consider donating directly to each organization today! For Giving Tuesday generous donors are matching donations to Oceana and Sea Shepherd, doubling our contribution!

Our 2020 Coastal Designs were inspired by Stephanie’s lifelong love of the ocean and it’s so exciting for us to have this opportunity to protect our oceans and the animals who depend on them by giving to these organizations. We were very fortunate to make several donations throughout all of 2020! Thanks to your orders we were able to contribute to the following organizations.

Australian Bushfire Relief donation to NSW Rural Fire Service - $4,115.00

Camp Coloring PDF fundraiser for No Kid Hungry - $514.50

This summer we donated $12,000.00 over an eight week period to organizations and funds that fight for social justice and racial equity. Each of our employees were given the opportunity to select an organization to contribute to and we highlighted each cause on our blog.

Brooklyn Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund - $1,500.00

The Marsha P. Johnson Institute - $1,500.00

Black Mamas Matter Alliance - $750.00

Black Women’s Health Imperative - $750.00

Thurgood Marshall College Fund - $750.00

Facing History and Ourselves - $750.00

Equal Justice Initiative - $1,500.00

Greening Youth Foundation - $1,500.00

The Fresh Air Fund - $1,500.00

Fair Fight - $1,500.00

We donated 100% of proceeds from our Anchor Face Masks to GlobalGiving COVID-19 Relief Fund for a total of $1,770.00. We were also able to donate 400+ face masks to local organizations in our Rocky Mountain community.

$2,000.00 from our Dog Watercolors series was donated to The Street Dog Project at Friends of the Animal Shelter to support volunteers rescue animals affected by the devastating wildfires in Oregon this summer.

All combined, together we’ve donated $25,399.50 this year and we could not have done it without you!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We cannot wait to give again in 2021!
