Oxbow Bend
A scene inspired by Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National park. Featuring an American White Pelican, a bird that summers in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. In the background are the Grand Tetons and animals who call this area home. Painting and pencil on paper.
Great Blue Heron
The setting for this painting I drew on memories of visiting the Cincinati Nature Center as a child. My favorite place there was the lotus pond and the turtles. The heron is inspired by the piece Herondipity by Charlie Harper, a famous Cincinnatian. My mom had this print and I’ve always loved it.
Moonwatching
Inspired by a method of early bird counting. Migrating birds were counted at night, and their silhouettes were observed over a full moon. Painted on paper with metallic accents, the birds and moon are collaged.

Jason Miller also curated a selection of my original pencil drawings, which are the starting point for embroidered designs. This is the first time we have offered these original drawings for sale!
